Lead Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

Design, build, and evolve our Internal Developer Platform (IDP) as a self-service platform -
Integrate a transparent Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) -
Develop and maintain golden paths, templates, and standardized pipelines for developer teams -
Implement and enforce policy-as-code, security gates, and reproducible build pipelines -
Operate and enhance the platform infrastructure (CI/CD, observability, secrets management, deployments) -
Collaborate closely with development, security, and operations teams -
Own the “Developer Platform” product — including roadmap planning, feedback loops, and key metrics
What you bring

Several years of experience developing and operating modern developer platforms or DevOps toolchains -
Deep understanding of build systems, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability -
Experience with Nix/NixOS is a strong plus — or a strong desire to learn -
Rust knowledge is beneficial (not mandatory) since many of our tools are developed in Rust -
Python and Go is beneficial and familiarity with DevSecOps methodology are helpful
Familiarity with modern software security lifecycle standards (e.g., SBOMs, SAST, DAST, IAM, …) -
Product-oriented mindset, ability to work autonomously, and pragmatic problem-solving skills -
Strong communication skills — able to gather requirements from dev teams and translate them into platform features
